Release notes: Inception CRM 2026.1 for iOS introduces enhanced control over CRM search defaults, a new HCP-specific dashboard capability, and extended audit tracking for media interactions, alongside bug fixes, improvements, and optimizations.
These updates in Inception CRM 2026.1 for iOS help users start with more relevant data, access HCP insights more directly, and strengthen compliance tracking.
Search: Focus reps on people or institutions by default based on their organizational unit
Users often need different search views depending on their role or territory, focusing primarily on HCPs or HCOs. This release allows sales teams to define those defaults more precisely.
Administrators can now configure whether the Person and Institution filters are enabled by default in the Search module on a per–organizational unit basis, rather than as a single setting applied across the entire environment.
This allows:
- Organizations with distinct territory structures or user roles to present a focused default search view for each org unit
- Users to still toggle Person and Institution filters manually within the application — the configuration controls only the default state
- All other Search module settings to continue applying globally across the customer environment
Search: Set default filters for every organizational unit
To reduce the need for repeated setup, users can now start with a predefined, relevant filter configuration.
Administrators can define a default search filter configuration for each organizational unit. When a user launches the iOS client, the org unit default is automatically applied, ensuring users start from a contextually appropriate view without any manual setup.
Key behaviors:
- The Default button in the advanced search dialog loads the org unit’s default search configuration, giving users a quick way to return to the shared baseline
- When an org unit default filter is active, the filter icon appears in orange, distinguishing it from a user-modified filter (indicated in red)
Dashboards: Launch all-new HCP dashboards directly from the HCP person cards
Users can now access HCP-specific insights directly from the customer record, without needing to navigate away or manually filter reports.
The 2026.1 release introduces a new HCP-specific dashboard capability, extending the existing dashboard framework used for Institutions.
Like Institution dashboards—where the Institution ID is passed to the reporting server—the iOS client now supports launching dashboards using a configured URL that includes the HCP ID.
This enables the reporting layer to dynamically generate HCP-specific views based on the selected individual.
Key characteristics:
- Dashboards can be launched directly from the Person Card (HCP detail view)
- The system passes the HCP ID via a configurable URL to the report server
- Reports are dynamically filtered to the specific HCP context
This introduces a new dashboard capability and access point, allowing users to open relevant, HCP-specific reports with a single click directly from the customer card.
Media: Capture GPS location during media presentations
Tracking where and when promotional materials are used is critical for compliance and visibility in the field.
The Media module now includes GPS auditing of media interactions.
GPS location is recorded at each of the following points in a media presentation:
- Start
- Page change
- End
The application records the device’s GPS location as part of the media audit trail.
This strengthens compliance oversight and provides greater visibility into field activity related to promotional content usage.
For field teams, it also creates an automatic record of when and where promotional materials were presented.
