Custom Price Lists Can Now Be Defined Per Customer
Version 2021.1 introduces custom price lists. Companies can now create custom prices for individual businesses, such as independent and chain pharmacies, that get applied to all of their orders. Order forms and templates will display these custom price lists when a specific pharmacy is selected.
The system uses special institution profiles to link businesses to their respective price lists. Order forms recognize these profiles and use them to enable special / custom price conditions. When a user makes an order, the order template reads the profile and grabs the prices from the linked price list.
This makes it easy for users to prepare orders using the right prices. It also ensures that orders reflect agreements between the seller and buyer. Incentives (such as discounts, rebates and free pieces) can then be applied on top of these prices.
Custom prices make sure that the incentives reps offer are correct. Discounts, for example, typically increase when the value of the order is higher. So, the user needs to be able to properly calculate the total. To do to that accurately, the user needs the right price list. By applying the right price list, the system ensures that users will be confident their discounts make sense.
