You Can Now Add Free Text and System-Generated Notes to Orders
Version 2021.1 introduces new optional free text note fields to Order Summaries. These note fields support both user and system generated custom texts.
Custom note fields allow companies (and users) to help order processing with useful information. Notes can be used to ensure timely (and correct) delivery of ordered goods, while custom fields can give distributors an easy way to provide feedback on each order.
User-Generated Notes
Users can now add free text notes to their Order Summaries. These can be personal notes for the representative. Or, where supported by the Distributor APIs, sent along with the order as a note for the distributor.
System-Generated Notes
Administrators can configure the system to grab custom text from any connected source. For example, the system can supplement orders with relevant information from ERP, or distributors can use them to add their own comments or feedback on an order.
